ear ache

wow, time fly so fast, i never thought its almost a year now that i never posted any updates with my little angel....its just that, i am a full time mom, a full time wife and a full time household keeper...we're doing a big garden renos in our front and back yard started last summer, and did some painting inside the house too. That is why i dont have really time for blogging, sorry :( but the garden is almost done, just the back yard left now and a few work in the front that needs to be done. I can relax for a bit now and take it easy gardening this time...annd trying to find time blogging too :)

I posted before that i've been trying to wean my angel in his pacifier, well, because, through is soother he had earaches, as a mom, it hurts and really bothers me, i always made sure the soother is cleaned, and so i asked my doctor and began to search the net.

Earache is usually common in infants and children because the Eustachian tube will easily blocked due to excess mucus and saliva produced during teething and pacifier use. With my Douglas, since he is a formula baby, he had 3 repeated episodes and all end up by taking antibiotics. I just cant stand looking at him when he had one, i would know when he's irritable, cant eat, cant sleep and would have fever that reaches to a 100 F in temperature, as a mom, i need to do something. Around 15 months, slowly, i tried not to give the pacifier during the day, it was hard at night as he cant sleep without it, i let him cry when he asked, but with love and patience he totally forgot his soother at 16 months.

I am a very happy mommy, that since then, he had no more ear aches, i do hope he wont have it anymore.....i just love my little angel so much :)
