a month after i got here, i submitted my transcript of records to the BCIT office or international credential evaluation service, i wanted to know my education level here in terms of credentials and if i have a chance to work in a prefession where i belive i can apply in terms of my education attainment. I got the results in 3 weeks, unfortunately, the level of education i got from the philippines compared to the education level here in canada is just second year college. What a shame, i finished 2 courses but both are second year college level here, according to them, here before you enroll in a 4 years degree or bachelor's degree, you should finish 12 years of primary and secondary level, but for us in the philippines, is just 10 years, 6 years in elementary and 4 years for the secondary level, and so because of that, they subtract 2 years of my both 4 year courses, yikes, now i need to go back to school here again if ever i wanted to pursue with the 2 courses i finished in the philippines. For me now, i felt like i've been studying in my whole life, its so tiring to get 2 years again, i guess i will have to take or enroll pharmacy technician in which it will take 8 months to complete or maybe ASL or american sign language, hmmmmm.. lets see what would it be.....for now i want to start my life here as soon as possible....i guess its time for me to search a good school then.......
